They say there are two kinds of writers in this world; Plotters and Pantsers. These same labels can be applied to Secret Service agents as is the case with Myka and Pete.
Myka Bering (Joanne Kelly) is a plotter. She uses color-coded charts, insists on dozens of dry runs and takes precautions against even the most remote possibility of danger. This is the President’s life she’s protecting so nothing is left to chance. (continue reading…)
If you like “Eureka” you’ll enjoy” Warehouse 13

I’ve seen this before, but it’s a fun set of concepts to revisit.
Two government agents, a male and female, investigate the paranormal (The X-Files) in order to capture or contain objects of power (Friday the 13th: The TV Series) in a containment vessel (Ghostbusters) so the objects can be hidden away in a vast government warehouse (Raiders of the Lost Ark) and catalogued by a mysterious specialist in the arcane (The Librarian). TV Overmind Review

NUP_131080_0304Warehouse 13, a new show set to premiere on the Sci Fi Channel in July, seems to be a mish-mash of various other shows, such as:
(1) The X-Files, which I loved. You’ve got the two partners here (male and female). The male is slightly more eccentric and a rule-breaker. He’s also the kind of guy who follows hunches, whereas the female partner is much more by-the-book. The difference between X-Files and Warehouse 13? There’s no aliens. Yet. (continue reading…)
